Yesterdays game two had a similar feel as game one but without the same results. Robinson Cano hit his second HR in two games but today the Texas Bull pen held and the Rangers took game two 7-2.

So back to NY it goes on Monday where Cliff Lee and Andy Pettitte will face off for game three. Lee is 6-0 in the post season, but Pettitte is the best pitcher of all time in the playoffs. Both these guys are veterans who will not be shaken by the importance of this game to both teams.

Keys to victory

Rangers: The Rangers can win this game if Cliff Lee can get ahead on counts and put batters away. If Lee can go eight the Yankees are toast.

Yankees: Be Patient early. The Yankees are the best in the game at working the count and running a pitcher out of the game. They need to get Lees pitch count up and have him out before the eighth. The Texas bull pen is not know to be a reliable commodity.

Predictions: Look for Alex Rodriguez and Robinson Cano to be a two man wrecking crew. Both are seeing the ball really well right now and Arod is one or two at bats away from knocking one out when it counts. Look for it to be low scoring early and for neither of the starters to be a factor in the final outcome. 7-4 Yankees  with the win going to Chamberlain and the loss going to Oliver. Check back on Monday for post game analysis.
