Pitchers: Sabathia, Pettitte, Hughes, Burnett, Mitre, Moseley, Logan, Robertson, Chamberlain, Wood, Rivera

Catchers: Posada, Cervelli

Infielders: Teixeira, Cano, Jeter, Rodriguez, Berkman, Pena

Outfielders: Swisher, Granderson, Gardner, Thames, Kearns, Golson

To me Mitre and Moseley were surprises. I thought it would be Gaudin and Ivan Nova but Im sure Joe has his reasons. I get Mitre over Gaudin, but Moseley over Nova? That I don’t get. The other surprise is no AJ Burnett in the rotation. This says to me that Joe is committed to going with a three man Rotation starting Sabathia in game four on short rest. Having Burnett in the bull pen will give them someone able to give them length if needed.

As far as the rotation goes it will be Sabathia then Pettitte and Hughes will pitch game three. Personally i will would have started Hughes in game two but im not surprised at all by Pettitte getting the ball. He is amazing in the post season and if the Yankees can go up two zip its all over but the crying.

Girardi says he is going to sleep on a line up for tomorrow but my guess is that it will look something like this.

1. Jeter

2. Swisher

3. Tex

4. A-Rod

5. Cano

6. Posada

7. Granderson

8. Berkman

9. Gardner

CC Sabathia
