Ok ok calm down the Yankees have dropped a few games and moved into second place. Do you really think its to late for them to win the division or they aren’t good enough to go to the playoffs? I have said it a million times step away from the ledge, the Yankees have ran into a couple of great pitchers and a couple that had the games of their lives. This will not continue. There is good news on the horizon.
1. After A-Rod finally hit number 500 he went on a tear and started hitting them in bunches look for him to do the same again
2. Andy Pettitte may be further along in his rehab than expected and may be back in a week or two.
3. Alfredo Aceves may be headed to a rehab assignment after pitching a bull pen today. What a huge piece this would be for the Yankees bull-pen
4. Dustin Mosley was better than the numbers showed. He only threw 85 pitched over 7.1 innings and got a lot of ground balls. One bad inning was really what cost him a great game.
5. When these mini slumps happen the Yankees usually cone back with a double digit victory that puts everyone’s mind at ease. Tonight probably wont be that day though with Shawn Marcum taking the mound for Toronto. However with Phil Hughes going out there I expect a win and in usual Yankees fashion.
6. When its august and you have your first three game losing streak you hare having a pretty good year.

More Bad news for the Red Sox as Kevin Youkilis may be out for the season with a torn muscle in his hand that is requiring surgery. Josh Beckett got ejected during a bench clearing incident after he hit two Indians. Makes me laugh how they always say there was no intent, but we all know what a douchebag Beckett is.
