As previously mentioned the bombers schedule is a bit lighter than the rest of the Divisons over the next 13 games but It should be noted that they are up against a couple of first class pitchers the next two days. Tonight they will face Cliff Lee who is speculated to eventually end up in pinstripes. Lee is one kid that knows how to pitch having him in pinstripes would almost be unfair. Its two bad that the Mariners cant score any runs to support his brilliance.

Dave Eiland has returned from his personal leave. Thank GOD! AJ Burnett has been a mess ever since he left. Eiland says he can see whats wrong with AJ from watching him on TV and its minor stuff. Hopefully its just a little tweak and he goes back to being dominate. Aj will throw a bull pen with Eiland on Wednesday.

Brett Gardner is out of the line up again because of a sore wrist from when he got beaned on Sunday. He is available to Pinch Run or Play defense if needed but will likely have at least a couple more days off to fully heal.

Tonight Phil Hughes will retake the mound after missing his last start in order to keep within his season innings limit. The Yankees scheduled days off allowed them to do this without messing up everyone elses normal pitching routine. Hughes has been one of the best in the AL with a record of 10-1 he hopes to continue his dominance with win number 11 tonight.

Chad Huiffman gets the start tonight in left field and is 3-11 in his major league career. He has decent power and speed and has the potential of being lightning in a bottle for the Yankees bench. Lets look at the rest of tonights line up.
