Former Yankees Second Baseman Chuck Knoblauch has pleaded guilty to domestic battery related to an incident involving his common law wife. Knoblauch pleaded guilty i n exchange for deferred-adjudication probation. Successful completion of his one-year probation could mean the conviction on the assault of a family member would be expunged from the record. He was also fined $1000.

Although his best years were with Minnesota, Knoblauch played with the Yankees from 1998 to 2001. My guess is the 56 errors he committed while in pinstripes was to much for his conscience to bear and he took it out on his wife. I guess I could be wrong.
