robbypie I have to admit I have never seen so many walk off wins by one team in my lifetime. I’m not sure what the record for most in a year is but if anyone knows I would certainly be interested in hearing what the Record is. The Yankees beat the White Sox in the 10th inning tonight with a dramatic 3 run Homer from Robinson Cano 5-2.

Yankees on the moundCC Sabathia continues to pitch well he went 7 innings giving up two runs on 8 hits and struck out 10. But did not get the win turning over a 2-2 tie to Phil Hughes, Mariano Rivera and Brian Burney who all pitched an inning of scoreless Baseball.

Yankees at the Dish: The Yankees got Home Runs from Derek Jeter, Johnny Damon and the Walk off by Robinson Cano that accounted for all the scoring. The only Starting Yankee that did not get a hit was Nick Swisher but he did walk twice and scored a run.

Yankees on Deck: Sergio Mitre will start tomorrow vs a TBA pitcher that is not named Jake Peavy who will be starting in a minor league rehab assignment. It will be a 1:05 game and Sundays Finale will feature Joba Chamberlain vs Freddy Garcia. Im guessing over the next two days the Bombers will score a lot more runs. Sunday will also be a 1:05 start.

Update: The Red Sox Rain delay is over and Boston has taken a 6-5 lead with Jonathon Craplebon on to nail it down,Toronto had the Bases loaded with one out in the ninth but puppybon got two k’s to nail it down. That’s why Toronto sucks.
