Its time once again for the Yankees V Mets. Tonight’s pitching matchup features CC Sabathia for the Yankees opposed by Mike Pelfrey for the Mets.

All Eyes will be on CC who was pulled with forearm tightness during his last start. He seems to be fine and felt fine during his bull pen yesterday. Mike Pelfrey 5-2 has had an Awful June thus far going 1-1 in 4 starts with a 7.08 ERA. He has given up 16 earned runs over 2o innings on 28 hits. That my friends is not good. Hopefully the newly rejuvenated Yankees offence will only make matters worse for this already struggling pitcher. Here is a look at your home town Bronx Bombers starting line up:

Derek( el Captain0 ) Jeter, SS
Johnny( simply demonic) Damon, LF
Mark ( sending a text message) Teixeira, 1B
Alex ( a-bomb) Rodriguez, 3B
Robby (don’t ya know ) Cano, 2B
Melky ( the melk man) Cabrera, RF
Brett(Need a good name ) Gardner, CF
Fransisco( Frankie C) Cervelli, C
CC (Carston Charles) Sabathia,
LHP

I’m sure if CC gets a hit tonight Sterling will have a good one all ready. CC likes to bat and will be up there swinging that’s for certain. CC holds a career .261 batting average and had 4 homers in 2008 so get pumped!

Robby Cano is back in the line up after having last night off to welcome back Cody Ransom. Robby has been nursing a sore wrist so I’m hoping the day off will make it all better.

Mariano Rivera is sitting on 499 saves. I hope he is not needed to get a save tonight. I would like to see him get it at the stadium in front of the home crowd. But being in NY still would be the second best thing. There should be plenty of Yankees fans there tonight.

We will also be keeping an eye out for any words between Brian Bruney and K-Rod who exchanged words in the outfield of one of the previous meetings. I think it would be great if Bruney got to pitch to K-Rod or vice versa. That would be epic but probably wont happen.

Nothing to really update on the Nady elbow injury except that he is headed back to see Dr. Yocum in California. Most around the organization are painting a grim picture.

The Tarp is down so we are looking at a probably rain delay. More to come as it becomes available.6:15pm
