The Yankees had a bad series against a horrible team. Its done its over and its time to move on. Remember even though they are a bad team they are still professional ball players and are still more talented than you and I. That being said I expect the Yankees will rebound tonight after the almost certain tongue lashing they received from Joe Girardi. Here are your starting line ups:

YANKEES (37-28)
Jeter SS
Damon LF
Teixeira 1B
Posada C
Cano 2B
Swisher RF
Cabrera CF
Berroa 3B
Pettitte LHP

Pitching: LHP Andy Pettitte (6-3, 4.52).

MARLINS (33-35)
Coghlan LF
Helms 3B
Ramirez SS
Cantu 1B
Uggla 2B
Paulino C
Hermida RF
Ross CF
West LHP

Pitching: LHP Sean West (2-1, 3.00).

This game being an Interleague game and away Pettite will have to bat. Andy having played in the NL before has seen a few pitches in his day. He even had a HR back in 2006 with the Astros. Don’t count on that happening but its good to know.  Sean West is a 23 year old pitcher that the Yankees have never seen before so many believe they will lose. West seems to have good stuff but with only 30 MLB innings under his belt its tough to say he’s lights out. Well have to see how he does against a powerful lineup like the Yankees.

However that powerful line up will be without Alex Rodriguez who is fatigued and is getting the next two days off to rest. (no he wasn’t benched because he is in a slump) remember he was on the DL and had surgery this season. Posada will bat in the clean- up spot (good choice) and Berroa will start at 3rd. (WHAT) I don’t even know why Berroa still has a job. Pena must be very disappointed that he didn’t get the start. Dont worry Ramerio I know your better. But now that I say that Im sure Berroa will go 4-4 and then get DFA’d after the game. That’s the way it works.

You can follow us now on twitter under the user name YankeesMagazine. All the content will still be here but little tidbits will be posted via twitterberry throughout the game. Im new to the 140 word or less blog so bear with me. Please become a follower hopefully this will increase our traffic and give me an opportunity to get to know all my readers a bit better.

The Marlins are a young team that Joe Girardi used to manage so this is a bit of a homecoming for him. The Fish did him dirty and I’m sure he would love a little payback.
