Pitching: RHP Tim Wakefield (7-3, 4.50).

Wakefield  doesn’t seem to fair well against the Yankees. Patient hitters seem to have Tim’s number. I’m expecting Wang to pitch better each time out as he will continue to get stronger. He is expected to go 85-90 pitches tonight. Jeter,Cano,Damon and Cabrerra all have .300+ BA against Wakefield. For the Sox Ortiz,Kotsay and Pedroia have better than .300 against Wang.

Its a battle for first place and Im expecting a high scoring shootout as opposed to a pitching duel but I am giving the Yankees a slight edge.
