Some Thoughts: It is good to see Jeter and Matsui back in the line up tonight. Despite the 8 runs scored yesterday this is still a better hitting line-up with Jeter and Matsui in it rather then out. CC Sabthia pitches tonight and is the Yankees best option at winning two series in a row for the first time this year. However, despite Gardner’s HR last night I think keeping Melky out of the lineup is bad move. Girardi should have Melky in the lineup for either Gardner or Swisher as neither is hitting right now. If the Yanks do win, 4-2 on a 6 game road trip is not a bad record with the amount of injuries.

Enjoy the game. The first pitch is at 7:07 Eastern Time.
